Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy born in June 1962 was an American actor from the United States. Her film debut was in Bad Boys (1983). Then she enrolled in the Bratpack group and appeared on screen in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club(1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actor. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is a performer and an author. She started her career in film through the crime film Bad Boys in the early 1980s for which she was quite appreciated. The film was written and directed by Rick Rosenthal also starred other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck. Her role was featured on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985 the comedy following her initial fame. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is considered as one of high school cinema's best films. Even though the budget of the film was only $1 million, it made more than $50 million in profits. At the same time she started appearing on TV in various shows such as CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first television appearance. It was a show specifically for teens that began airing from April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues were some other shows on television that the actress appeared on. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero in which Sheedy plays a small cameo. Sheedy is known for her amazing performance, has won numerous awards. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
