Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and a writer, who has won numerous Awards. Her films are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) as well as The Getaway ( 1972). Her desire to be an artist was inspired by her upbringing in the New York family of artists. Her first position was a photo assistant. Then she moved on to modelling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her two first films and won the Golden Globe Award for Most promising Newcomer. Her film MacGraw's Love Story from 1970 was an enormous success that earned her fame worldwide in addition to being as an Academy Award nominee and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best female box-office star of the world in just three films. In 1972, the Grauman's Chinese Theater recorded her signature, hand-prints and foot prints in 1972. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, a 1991 autobiography by her, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
