Ina-Garten
Ina Garden is an American book author, who has been awarded Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for another 27 years. Ina began her career by working for the White House, writing the nuclear energy budget and policy documents. While she initially found the work fascinating and intellectually stimulating, she soon became bored. Barefoot Contessa was then purchased. It was a huge success for 18 years before she decided to sell it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. A number of other books and magazines followed. The Food Network TV show also made its debut, and was a huge hit. She also sells all kinds of cooking equipment, tools and storage containers. Ina is a self-taught cook who has never been to a cooking class or employed in a kitchen. Ina is well-known for her easy style of cooking as well as her easy take on entertainment. She is known for her simple recipes such as Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken Macaroni, Cheese and with Beef Bourguignon and the Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
